Terms
These terms are between you and Lorenz Development Kft., and apply to every guide bought on this site. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

What you are buying
One PDF travel guide, written in the language you choose, laid out for A4, delivered on the page and by email after payment. There are two versions. The standard guide covers one destination for $14.99. The Pro guide, for $19.99, is written to the dates you gave, the size of your party, and where you are staying, and covers the trip from arrival to departure. If you start a standard guide you are offered the Pro one for $16.99 before you pay. You are charged once, and only for the guide you chose.
There is no subscription, no account, and no recurring charge. One payment buys one guide.
How the contract is made
Filling in the form is not yet an order. The contract is made when you complete payment and we confirm it by email. Until then nothing is owed by either of us, and you can leave the page. If we cannot write your guide, the contract does not come into effect and you are refunded in full.
The contract is concluded in English, and we keep the details of your order in your account-free order record, which you can reach from the link we email you.
Price and tax
Prices are shown before you pay. Stripe acts as seller of record for the transaction: they take the payment and add any VAT, GST or sales tax due where you are, which is shown before you confirm. The final amount on the Stripe page is the amount you pay.
Your right to withdraw, and why you are asked to give it up
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase, without giving a reason. For digital content delivered immediately there is one exception, and it is the one that applies here.
Before you pay, you are asked to tick a box requesting that we write and deliver the guide straight away, and confirming that you understand this means you lose the right of withdrawal once it has been delivered. That is required by Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We record when you ticked it.
Until the guide has actually been delivered, the right still applies. If you change your mind in that window, email [email protected] with your order link and we will cancel and refund you. You may use the model withdrawal form in Annex I of the Directive, but any clear statement will do.
If you did not tick the box — for example on an older order — the full 14-day right applies, and you can withdraw by emailing us.
If the guide is faulty
You have a legal guarantee that the guide matches what was described here, under Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content, and under Hungarian law. This is free of charge and is separate from anything below. If the guide does not arrive, will not open, is not in the language you chose, is not written to the trip you paid for, or is obviously not a travel guide, tell us and we will put it right or refund you.
Write to [email protected] with your order link. We answer complaints within 30 days.
How the guide is written, and what it is not
The guide is produced automatically by an AI language model working from what you told us. It is checked for structure but it is not fact-checked by a person. Prices, opening hours, transport details and whether a place still exists all change. Check anything you are relying on.
Pro guides use your dates to talk about seasons, weekdays and opening hours. That is planning material, not a booking. Nothing in a guide is a reservation, a ticket, or advice about visas, health, insurance or safety.
Liability
This is reference material. We are liable for damage caused by our own breach of these terms, and nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.
Beyond that, we are not responsible for travel decisions made on the strength of a guide, or for losses that were not foreseeable when you bought it.
Complaints and disputes
Come to us first at [email protected]. Most things are settled that way.
If we cannot agree, as a consumer you may take the matter to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) attached to the county chamber of commerce for our seat — the Komárom-Esztergom County Conciliation Board — free of charge, or to the board in the county where you live if you are in Hungary. Their current addresses are published by the chambers of commerce. You may also complain to the local consumer protection authority. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can use the alternative dispute resolution body in your own country, and the European Consumer Centre there can point you to it.
The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available, so there is no ODR link here.
Governing law
Hungarian law governs these terms and the courts of Hungary have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country, and you may also bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may change these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you paid, and changing them later does not affect a guide you have already bought.
